ALEJANDRO BERNABE, GENERAL MANAGER- SIAM KEMPINSKI HOTEL BANGKOK, ASIA DIRECTOR SOUTHEAST ASIA
With over 17 years in the hospitality industry – over a decade of which has been spent within the Kempinski – Bernabé is now heading the team at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. With an impressive career path that has taken him across the globe, from his native Spain to the USA, Switzerland, South Africa, France, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Russia, Turkey, Malta, Kuwait, Jordan and Dubai, Bernabé is now back in the warm embrace of Asia at one of Kempinski’s flagship properties; one of the hotels of which the company is most proud.

Bernabé came to Bangkok from Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, where as General Manager he played a key role in firmly placing the property on the UAE hospitality map.

With multiple Bachelor's degrees obtained in Spain and the USA, a Hotel Management degree from the Hotel Institute Montreux, in Switzerland, and a Master of Business Administration from Reims Management School, in France, Bernabé brings a formidable background in management to the table, along with years of practical, on-the-ground experience. Having started his career in the realm of Food And Beverage, and with extensive experience with both city hotels and resort properties, Bernabé possesses the ideal mix of skills required to successfully boost Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok’s already strong reputation as a leisure and culinary destination in the city.

Siam Kempinski Hotel, the city-resort adjacent to Sa Pathum Palace, is part of Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group, Kempinski Hotels. Every one of the hotel’s 303 rooms and suites overlooks the surrounding gardens and pools and 21 rooms have direct access to the pool. It also houses 98 serviced residences for long-stay guests.

Thai artistic heritage is a key theme of the Siam Kempinski Hotel. The property will display 4,000 pieces of art, including over 200 original paintings and sculptures by Thai artists commissioned by the property.
The Kempinski name is proudly borne by a growing collection of distinguished properties around the world. As Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group, Kempinski has built its reputation on the belief that exclusivity and individuality are key elements of true luxury. Each year, an increasing number of guests come to appreciate these qualities as Kempinski adds new hotels and resorts in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. While this growth reflects the strength and success of the Kempinski brand, the collection will remain a limited one, where exclusivity can be nurtured and individuality can flourish.
