Hong Kong Disneyland Resort shared info of its latest developments at the Disney in a Whole New Light Media and Trade Event held in Bangkok, marking the resort’s first ever large-scale media and trade activity in Thailand and first overseas event since the October 1 launch of the “Disney Paint the Night” parade. Guests were able to experience a glimpse of the nighttime spectacular alongside offers from the upcoming Disney Sparkling Christmas.
Together with Chompoo Araya A. Hargate (Chompoo) and Cris Horwang (Cris), the resort was also thrilled to invite 100 guests from Thailand to the Ultimate Frozen Party at Hong Kong Disneyland this December.
“Expanding the South East Asia markets is one of our key business strategies for growing Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in the long run. Thailand is one of our core markets as we’ve seen promising growth in attendance over the past few years. Based on consumer research of our Thai guests, we’ve learned that they enjoy a wide variety of activities when they come to Hong Kong. Thus, we’ve tailor-made the ‘100 Choices of Winter Fun’ campaign for all those fun seekers to spend a cool and ‘snowy’ winter at Hong Kong Disneyland,” said Daisy Sit, Director of Marketing, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. In fiscal year 2013, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort achieved record-breaking attendance of 7.4 million guests, with 20 per cent being international.
